Family Self-Sufficiency Program Hosts Educational Advancement Workshop
Florence, SC-March 24, 2026 - The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program at the Housing Authority of Florence successfully hosted an engaging and informative workshop titled "Importance and Impact of Educational Advancement" on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event was held at the Housing Authority of Florence's Residential Services One Stop Shop, located at 400 East Pine Street.
The workshop was presented by Ms. Dana Marsh of Florence One School Adult Education at McClenaghan, who provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the adult education opportunities available through Florence One Schools. Ms. Marsh shared valuable insights on how continuing education can support both professional and personal growth, empowering individuals to achieve their long-term goals. Participants were actively engaged throughout the session, asking thoughtful questions and exploring pathways to further their education.
