Community Manager/Site Specialist
Community Manager/Site Specialist Needed: Perform moderately complex to very complex administrative, professional and supervisory work in coordinating, planning and organizing the activities of one or more Affordable Housing communities for the Authority. Responsible for all functions within a designated site(s) assignment. This includes but is not limited to: lease up, maintenance and upkeep of property, resident services, background checks, etc. Responsible for the following duties in assigned sites, must maintain 97% or greater lease up. Intake and process applications, including verifying income and other verifications to complete lease agreements, collect rent and other charges from residents and maintain a daily record of cash balances and make bank deposits daily. Should review accounts monthly establish and maintain individual files on unit residents. Complete annual re-exams of income and family composition, including interviewing residents, and verifying income. Perform inspections on units (minimum of weekly) must conduct resident meetings as well as planning and preparing a variety of educational, social activities and support services for residents. Maintain apartment files; utilize computer programs to prepare correspondence and reports, including interview schedules, etc., and reports as required by supervisor.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma (or GED). Some experience in public housing/assisted housing, or progressive work experience in a social service environment would be a plus; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
